Centre MK

Following on from our success in undertaking the LV Switchboards upgrade at the Queensgate centre in Peterborough, Playfords competitively tendered and secured a similar project for Centre MK in Milton Keynes but on a larger scale.

This project successfully completed at the end of April 2018 and involved the replacement of 7No main LV Landlord’s Switchboards, 2No standby Generators and air supply & extract systems and introduction of Isolation valves for the landlord’s gas supplies linked into the centre fire alarm system. The works involved numerous shutdown of services over the course of the contract to migrate services from the old switchboards to the new, all carried out with minimum disruption to the centre’s operations by carrying out the works overnight when it was closed.
