Playfords Ltd were asked by Millers Music MD Mr Simon Pollard to design a new lighting scheme for their Piano showroom. Concord Lighting (Havells-Sylvania) were selected as a preferred supplier to work with Playfords.

Millers is one of the top piano stores in the country, offering the very best in digital and acoustic pianos from leading brands C.Bechstein, Yamaha, Roland and Hoffman.

Formerly a CAT2 lay-in grid style T8 fluorescent light system was installed some 30 odd years ago, the client specifically wanted an LED scheme which would show-off the Pianos in all their glory and to reduce both the lighting energy consumption by 80% and environmental impact.

The end result is a showroom full of highly glossed pianos set in exceptional surroundings and light.

The client is so pleased with the refurbishment and lighting he will now follow through from the piano showroom to the guitar, woodwind and brass showrooms, similar lighting schemes to the piano showroom are proposed.
